wrong part? need help with exedy stage 1 clutch kit
well it looks as if it is the stage 1 clutch plate from comparing the pictures of the oem to the stage 1 over at gripforce.com. my only concern now is that there are cracks and fractures on the clutch plate itself on the outer rim. can someone please take a look at this picture of the crack and missing material and tell me if its ok and superficial, or if it will cause problems down the road.

So do you have a question? I don't really understand what the problem is. It's for a 92-01 Prelude so it should fit. I'm just not sure if there is a difference between H22 and H23 parts, but it says all. So again it should fit fine. There was some debate between whether or not their Stage 1 clutch was just an OEM replacement. From what I gathered there were peeps that said they make a OEM replacement clutch and a stage 1 clutch and that their part numbers were different so there were differences between them. Other peeps said that their stage 1 is just an OEM replacement. I myself have the stage 1 and can vouch for it.
22200-P13-005 DISK, FRICTION
22300-P13-005 DISK, PRESSURE
Here are your part numbers, this was for a 94 VTEC lude. Perhaps excedy uses their own system? I don't know. Search on here for exedy i'm sure you could find the answers you seek. Again I remember this being beaten to death in a thread. I suspect you would still get the same mixed replies.

Exedy doesn't make a Stage 1 clutch. "Stage 1" is just the same thing as an OEM clutch kit.
When vendors sell the clutch kit as "Stage 1", they are just referring to the OEM kit.
It's a good clutch.
EDIT: Whoa, looks like all they did was paint the pressure plate. Probably like the recent XTD thread.
That proce is pretty low. I wonder what kind of flywheel that is.
OEM Exedy clutch fits usually go for around $120 shipped.
