Default Custom seat brackets.

Hey guys,

I have 07' Si seats in my 00' Si right now, I made them work for the mean time, but now that I got some extra time on my hands I would like to actually fab up some real seat brackets to make them fit not only nicer, but safer.

What kind of metal would you all suggest using?

Any extra percautions or things you would look out for, or have wish you would have done on your fabs.

Thanks in advance.

Its' just a matter of measuring, cutting and fitting. I've done seat swaps before and they alway just end up being a pain in the ***. Seperate the seat pan from the seat before welding if you can. Foam is flammable

ps so is the grease in the rails. It's a hooker.

Oh yeah and the paint. Also a hooker.

i used 1 1/2" x 1/8" steel for mine. worked great and wasnt to hard to bend. Seat brackets are a pain so I always overcharge everyone when they ask me to build some since i dont want to make anymore, haha. They usually buy them on ebay or elsewhere after that.
