Default advice on lowering

Hello everyone!!

i have a '96 civic ex and i'm thinking about lowering it...this is my first time doing this so i'm not really sure what to do, i'm hoping you guys can help.

so i plan to put some Tein spring on - 1.9 in the front and 1.7 in the back. does this seem okay to you guys...i'm a little low on $ so i dont want to change the shocks. this will be for my civic i drive on a daily basis.

i've been asking other people but they have been giving me mixed messages...some say it wont last a month and some say it could last 4 years.

any comments would be greatly appreciated

thanks

well i blew my shocks in 2 month, buy some decent shocks (i got mine on ebay, KYB AGX adjustable, with shipping came to around $450 ) but to get more info seach this forum, there are way too many threads on this topic,
i guess people are too lazy to do search first.

tein is ok for a decent drop on stock shocks....
but your gonna blow it anyways so might as well change the shocks as well

picture a lowered stock shock like a noisy balljoint. it could go now, it could go next week, it could go in 6 months, it could go in 20 years, so why do the work twice? save up for one or two more weeks/paychecks and do it all at once
