Suspension Upgrades?
Since I have a couple of the basic, inexpensive performance upgrades (intake, headres, and exhaust), I want to start working on my suspension next. I already have a front and rear strut bar, but doesn't make much of a difference. What are some of the basic things i should get to start off with? Springs? Shocks? Coil-overs? Sway bars? I know the best kind to get are brand names, but some of the brand names are a little pricy. I'm on a limited budget right now so what are some decent, inexpensive brands of springs, shocks, coil-overs, and sway bars? Thanks in advance.
i just got some tein basics coilovers from optionimports.com for $675 shipped and also suspension technique sway bars from summit racing which were $250 shipped both the front and the rears. im still waiting for my car to come out of the shop but thats a choice you can go with.
for the best thing against body roll you should go with sway bars. what are your goals with your suspension?

I want to lower my car, but not too much. Low enough that i can get better handling around turns and what not. And i want something that has a smooth ride especially over bumps.
I agree with MuffinMan. The bottom line is that you may think you're just losing performance by skimping on the springs and shocks but the real deal is that there is a great chance you will quickly kill the rest of your suspension (bushings etc.) by using the cheap stuff.
Good deal. I personally like the HandR Sport Cup Suspension Kit over at tirerack. You also can't go wrong with some good Eibach or H&R springs and some Koni adjustables. Those are all carried by tirerack and are good reputable brands that will last long and work well.
