Default My 90 EF project

Well I have been watching these forums for a while, and well I just purchased a 90 ef sedan with lsvtec done to it, as well with tein springs. Now i havent had the car for over 2 weeks and it is already gutted :D i am redoing all the body work and some interior. I want to replace the center console with the crx console, I always thought the ef sedan looked tight with the one peice console, now I am just wondering what else to do it motor wise, i was thinkin jackson supercharging but i dont have lots of rrom for upgrading, so maybe buying a turbo kit for it. I am taking pics and i will post up right away, just looking for some thoughts and inputs on what u guys thinks, maybe even some pointers would be cool.. Thanks guys

basically all i can say, is that find out what you want to do with the car. . . .

the supercharger and turbo are two completely different systems. . . .

is the car gonna be for track, or street. . . .multiple things

Hi first I want to commend you on your motor and shell chioce,as far as input goes 2 things 1 is ls/vtec motors are useally high compression motors good for almotor not boost,I've seen idiots who turbo them and within 2to3 week the motors blown or whatnot so if you turbo it do it the right way and lower the compression down
And 2 v-tec and turbo don't mix well just cause timming advancing and the spool time my opion is to eliminate your v-tec or activate it at around 2grand and end itaround 6
If any one wants opionate on my idea's feel free to just remember a motor that's around for 5 monthes to a year is better then one that lasts a week

I have a question though, I am hearing different things from other people so I thought i try here as well. When i start off fro a stop (light or getting out of parking lot) just as I start to go my car starts to jump like and the tires studder on the ground like I am going to stall it, but then it go fine after that. Now i heard from some people that my motor mounts bushings are crap, ( which are hasport mounts) and other people say to get a sway bar and it stablilzes the jumping off the start. Any1 else have this problem too, if so please share how u fixed or solved the issue

i got some advice for u put the battery on top of the stock cross member support the black on and u will see how much better it is then having it up there in the way of the intake u might need a 92^ battery because the terminals are switched around so the ground is towards the chassis i done it to my crx i worked out great i see if i can get some pics of it.

Now, you want to make it worst by adding a turbo or a supper-charger. NOT A GODD IDEA! If you really have to have force induction, sell your Vtec head and buy a cheaper LS head and use the left over money for the turbo or the supper-charger.

first off, shout out to Winnipeg, I grew up there.

I think what you described going on is clutch chatter.

it could be caused from a failing clutch, or the clutch that is in there is a very high performance unit.

unsprung clutches will chatter a bit until you get used to them from what I've witnessed and felt
