Battery Light on
sometimes when i drive my battery light turns on by itself. anybody know what the problem is? i got the battery checked and its good. i dont know if it could be the alternator. one day i can drive all day and it wont come on until the next day. it only comes on at random times. anybody know what the problem is? thanks

Alternator is the first place I would check. And as I always say when you buy one from a parts store have the bench test it before you leave. There are too many of these "new" alternators going out being installed and being bad right out of the box.

Check the alternator, belt, connections and all of your ground connections. I had this happen once and it was my ground connection. I run extra grounds from my neg battery post to engine and frame to engine.
