Default Valve adjustment...

How do i found out at what degree my valves need to be adjust??? Do i need my camshaft specs and the valve specs??? Because my engine builder adjust them at .007 at cold...and he did all 16 valves with the same specs...is that normal that the intake and exhaust valve are the same spec??? Because 2 100km after the adjustement i dropped some valve and now i dont wanna pay for my builder's mistake!!! The motor had only a fresh 4000km on it

could have slipped a tooth on the timing belt, my car did the same thing at around 8K rpm, valves smacked the piston, cracked my block.
