2 Questions about my engine.
Alright, still very new to this stuff.
Question 1: How can I tell if I have a vtech engine? Dumb question I know, but do all vtevh engines have vtech written on them?
Question 2: I probably have a non vtech engine, so what can I do to it to get some more power out of it? Please list your suggestions starting with the cheapest, to most expensive.
Thanks

Pull the lever under your dash then skip around to the front of the car. Once there slide the other lever and lift the hood proping it with the rod(has a hook shape on one end). Find the engine code stamp on the left side of the engine (big metal object in center of compartment). Then get online and order some clear tail lights and a big wing.

if it says made by Mattel Toy Mfg. then you def have VTECH
but seriously ... on Q1, VTEC is sometimes associated with the engine code, i.e. B18C, D16Z, F20C, K20A2, K20A, H22A, etc
then some ppl do VTEC conversions of the head so you have
LS/VTEC etc.
