Rear Sway Bar (searched)
I have the possibility of getting an ST rear sway bar for my 4th gen for pretty cheap. Considering I'm properly lowered (neuspeed sport springs, kyb agx shocks, ingalls camber kit, neuspeed front upper strut brace, rear upper strut brace), would it be wise to do this upgrade, or should I save my money for something else?
I just installed a used ST rear sway bar into my 92 lude 2 weeks ago and I must say it is THE BEST 100 bucks mod
I ever done to my car. The only thing I have to watch for is the right sway bar mount might break off the car frame, it has been reported of this happened a lot of time so I am planing to check the bolt on it every week until I can can modify it with thicker steel when I store my car this winter. Right now I love to take corner at much higher speed.... the ST bar is only 2mm thicker from the OEM but it is solid inside so make it so much better than OEM one. oh yeah ST bar must be weight 5 times more than the OEM....

The brackets come with the bar. However, you should consider replacing the endlinks with some adjustable ones like what Hawkze_2.3 is using to correct any clearance issues with the lower control arms.
i love the feel of the progress swaybar, i also have the progress springs (2 inch drop). the problem is the toe arms hit the swaybar and have ripped the driver side bolted mount off the frame. I bought the megan toe bars to help clear some space and gona buy some 1.5 drop springs as well as welding the braket on the frame. do your megan toe arms hit the swaybar?
^^^^ i had the very same problem
i had to customize my progress mounts to make the bar sit higher
then made pretty short endlinks
but i took into consideration the angle of the swaybar at height and at full compression so i dont lose any swaybar-twist-action-thingamajig

Nope, I made these shorter endlinks a while back that keep it away from even the stock toe arms:

So Hawk I noticed you had your progress sway on the softest setting. Do you switch it up ever?
thanks for selling me your OEM awhile back. It was a huge increase from nothing at all.
ohh and your gas pipe(unless thats for running shine up across the boarder) looks pretty pimp.

For now it's just a street car so I don't need any crazy stiffness...plus the coilovers also help to keep the roll down.
No prob

There never was a 4th gen application. You just buy the 5th gen bar. Unfortunately there are no off the shelf endlinks anywhere. You have to make your own custom ones. Several of us have done it here so just do a search.
Just a warning too, the Progress bar isn't really a perfect fit on the 4th gen. As people have pointed out, you may have to modify the mounting brackets so you can raise the bar and then you also have to create some shorter endlinks. This is not just plug and play. If you're looking for something simpler to install you'll want a different bar.
