Default Moving seats from left to right.

A question I think I already know the answer. My driver seat is wearing out. Can I move the passenger seat to the driver side? I don't think so.....

Would you recommend getting a used OEM seat or go aftermarket? Even if I buy OEM used, I most likely will have to buy two, and the driver side will always have more wear. Yes, I can find the same color, but you know that's harder with the exact model year, etc, etc. They fade differently etc, etc.

My DD does not carry passengers.

So I would have to get two aftermarket seats just to look pretty. And that's a lot of money.

That's why I'm asking if I can just swtich them.

since the seat belt retainer is mounted to the seat, you can switch them, but you have no where to put the retainer. with imagination and money anything can be done.

I don't have the money so the answer is no?

Sorry, I don't know anything about aftermarket seats. Do they have this seat belt retainer already built in?

best thing to do would be to call and ask the salesman. the driver side rip is a constant in all honda's. i know that the universal cheap racing buckets from summit do not have the seatbelt provision. i was thinking of going with the tenzo-r or megan racing seats. they are about 250 a piece and the cheapest application specific i have found. i know that integra seats will fit in a crx but you are really close the ceiling. so call and do some asking.
