91 Crx w/stock b17...what should I do next?
Im trying to get opinions of what I should do next. I have a 91 Crx Si with a stock b17, stage 2 Competition clutch, Gator racing axles, rear is fully gutted, Zex 55 shot, Zex fuel pump booster. Sofar, I've only gotten a 15.2 out of it w/o spray on street tires, 13.9 WITH spray. As much as I like turbos, I'd like to stay all motor, and bump the shot up a bit. So, please give me your suggestions on what motor work I should do (cams, pistons, etc) or what you have done.
B17 stock compression is very low because of dished piston, that's why it only makes 160hp. Put some better pistons and (even better if u sleeve and put some 84+ mm bore piston) you'll get a 1.8L vtec with a very good compression and you'll get better times.
What tranny r u using? 15.2 sounds a little slow for your setup.

learn how to drive your car, my old stock crx hf with a a6 motor ran mid 14s at GLD with the b17 easily mid to low 14 sec timeslips..
this should probably be in the drag racing forum but i like crx's so i say get some slicks and seat time. without the bottle u should be low 14's like the othere guy said, assuming the motor is in good working order
I've got a b17 n my eg with ctr pistons, skunk2 stage 1 cams, aebs intake mani, 65mm tb, dc 4-n-1 jdm header, full msd ign with 6al, password power chamber intake, b16 hydro lsd tranny, and running chrome ecu. its not been ran at the track yet but i know it willout run the 5.0 mustangs.I think cams helped a ton try those first.
Well thank you to those who posted suggestions, since that's why I signed up on this site. I really wanted to find out what other people have done with these motors and the results they have gotten. I didn't come on here to be told I need to "learn how to drive".

Then if you didn't ask for OPINIONS, what the hell did you just ask for? 15.2 in a completely gutted CRX with a B16 is retarded. So is the 13.9 on the shot. I ran 13.8 in an EG hatch with full interior down to the A/C and a B18C all motor. You can have a 12 second ride and still not be able to get quicker then 15.0 if you don't know how to drive. Practice is one of the best things you could do. If you don't want opinions then don't post on a public message board asking for them.

you should not make a thread on what to do next.
You should do research and base your modifications on the research you do. It's not hard. Its either you spend your money the right way or the wrong way.
the right way is not cheap.
there is a dyno thread stickied up top that you need to look through in order to get an idea of what people are running.
