Weird Electrical Problem. HELP!
My 99 Accord was in a front passenger side fender bender.
After getting it back from the body shop, the following items don't work: the clock, radio, interior lights, dash lights, power locks, and passenger side brights.
Also, they somehow managed to remove the A/C control **** and attempted to put it back on with Elmer's Glue.
As far as the electrical problems go, I checked the fuses on the interior fuse box, and none were burnt. I did notice that this one fuse box houses all the connections that I'm having trouble with, save for the brights.
Next question, is there supposed to be a screw that looks to be a drywall screw behind my A/C ****, or just the white plastic piece? I'm curious to know if they made that addition before I superglue the **** back on.
As you can imagine, I am in no hurry to return my car to this body shop to have them repair their own faulty work, as I have no idea when and how the car might return again.
Thanks in advance!
Alex

check all interior fuses as alot of whats not working is on one fuse and the rest on another ( or 2 more)
as for the A/C **** i wouldn't glue it i would go buy another one (dealer,eBay,etc) and put it on....odds are they broke the plastic on the **** and the metal clip came off
as far as i know theres just supposed to be a white plastic piece(probably with blue transparent paper for lighting) but don't hold me to that

ive replaced both ***** on my 99 accord and yes your right bseries, dont glue it, once theres even a slight crack it ends up breaking but the new ones at the dealarship are made stronger and slightly different in connection. i dont remember a screw being behind it.
i was just thinking do any light come on? not to be a smartass but might wanna check the battery. unless the driver side brights work, check all fuses though
All the headlights and the driver's brights work. Also, both power windows work.
So basically, nothing on the top half of the passenger side fuse box works, and everything on the bottom half works.
Again, all the fuses are good.
Does anybody have a wiring diagram they could scan?
