I'm pretty sure the distributor in my 89 Civic Si is going bad. I think it has a sensor problem. The car has a bad hesitation problem below 2500rpms every once and a while. I've pretty much pin pointed the problem to the distributor. I want to find an used one from a junkyard. What other cars have a distributor that will fit? 88-89 Integra?

 

the best thing to do is buy one from autozone!$150 bucks with a life time gar.my car does allmost the same thing.form 2500 to around 4500 it surges a little bit.i have not had time to find out what the hell is going on but most likely the distrib or injectors.you never know on a distrib from a salvage yard esspecially the 99-91 distrib.all the sensors are in it. does yours surge a little bit also?

 

my distributor went out on my zc. i changed the coil and ignitor and still it wouldn't start. i thought about getting one from a junkyard but they all wanted around 100 bucks. i said screw that i will get a new one at autozone. i have it installed now and it runs great. it came w/lifetime warrenty and it was 220.00 with a 70.00 core charge. GO WITH A NEW ONE INSTEAD OF A USED!!!! good luck
