Need help find correct shaft rod seal.
I ordered a shaft rod seal from the parts store for my 1989 CRX DX. I brought the seal home, pulled off the old one, which is in pretty bad shape, and then saw that they don't match. I won't get a tight seal. Then I realized the transmission has been replaced. The oly ID I could find on it was the PL3/A000. The parts store here only wants year/make/model. So how do I find the right seal for this transmission?. I'm guessing the shift rod itself was changed also because neither the outside diameter or inside diameter were the same as the old one. The I received was bigger on both measurements by about a 16th of an inch.

The part number is the same across all years for that trans.
Why not get the part from Honda? Lots of aftermarket stuff doesn't line up properly.
