Default 1998 Integra Type-R located in California, but a Florida car $11,500

relisted the car this I kinda would like a buyer outside of cali since they are so worried about smog here it isnt even funny. I understand since the cops out here are outta control, plus they have tons of gay laws and rules. Thank god im in the military and dont need to deal with such retardation. anyways heres the link...

Nice car, good price.
Don't know how you put in $10,000 though.
Motor is relatively stock on Rota's.

The things that could be done with $10,000 to an ITR.. *dreams*

Just out of curiosity since you've owned both, how do you line up the e46 M and the ITR... obviously I know the M has more luxury and comfort, but as far as the driving experience on an enthusiast level.

good luck on the sale, wicked nice R.

The Type-R is so much easier to drive to the limit than the m3. I haven’t really beaten the **** outta either car, but the R feels way better at high speed. I have never felt out of control. With the adjustable suspension the car is a freaking monster. I drove the car on the Nurburing while I was stationed in Germany and I can tell you that I got as many looks as the Porsche GT-2&3 and BMW M3 CSL’s that were there. Also you feel more in control of the car that than the M since BMW has a gazillion computers making sure you don’t wreck.
When I drove on the ring I had the ABS off and it was crazy (switched out the cv joint with an LS unit)!!!!

I was able with the help of a buddy to adjust the suspension on the fly to make the car go from under steer to over steer. I thought it was crazy that I could remove the front wheel drive feel and replace it with that of a rear wheel drive car. The M is so comfortable and quite compared to the R, but after driving the M3 for a few months and not the R the day I started to drive it again I was very impressed. I am sure that a few minutes after I give someone the leys to a car I have owned for 5 years I will regret that I sold it. The sad thing is that I have 5 cars and I have to give away one of them. My wife is a die hard RX7 fan and that is the car we met with so it will not be sold and the M3 I just bought so the only one left is the R. Someone will get a great car and have a great time with it. I hope it ends up with an enthusiast that can appreciate the special ness that this car brings with it.

Damn, That's what I was expecting to hear... Alot of the M diehards had many gripes with the disconnected feel of the e46 in comparison to e30/36M's...

I'm in the same boat you are, the girlfriend and I are making plans to move out to california, and there really isn't room for the R in the equation, between shipping, theft rates and stupid smog tests I can't justify keeping it... however it's an emotional attachment because it's also how we met too... So just like you I will only let it go to another person in the ITR community just so I can rest a little better knowing it's in good hands.

stay on the east coast if you can. You might make a few more bucks out here, but trust me you spend a **** load. My RENT is 1850 a month! A house in SC/NC like the one i live in would cost at the most 140k this is a 700k house!

Plus the rules these people have to deal with is enough to make you want to shake the **** outta someone.

1800's is round about what we were looking at for rent.... There's a reason you can get away with paying $700 a month in NC, because it's a shithole... But I have another venture taking off that will stagnate if I don't live in SoCal which is the epicenter of that industry. But none the less i'm not going to hyjack your thread... best of luck on this sale.
