Default B18c1 Turbo Setup (nothing big)

REVISED: because I pulled my head out of my ***

What I have:
JDM GSR motors (b18c)
CTR cams
Blox intake manifold
YS1 transmisson
Excedy Stage 1 clutch
Test Pipe
2.5" custom catback (need to get another resonator now that the cat's off, too much rasp )
Erick's racing chip in my P28 ECU
ARP headstuds(coming soon)

Getting:
Garrett T3/T4 turbo
Log manifold/Greddy manifold
Tail Wastegate
Custom 2.5" downpipe
Custom intercooler piping with as little cuplers as possible
Some sort of tuning program
Bigger injectors (not sure how big to go.)
LS or GSR transmission
HKS Blow off valve
Some sort of clutch that can handle the power but be good for Daily Driven
probably more small **** but thats all the big stuff.

Hoping to make 270+ WHP

ditch the FMU, its junk, neptune, AEM, HOndata, uberdata are all good alternatives, much safer, see what your tuner prefers, Cam gears are a waste of time and money in my opinion, exhaust is a little small but will work for only ~250whp And KEEP your tranny!

sounds like you need a new tuner, ANY reputable tuner WILL NOT tell you that

go with hondata s300, my buddy made the mistake of running an fmu and ran too much boost and blew his motor up, not too mention he was running stock injectors, definitely need a good tuner

i dont think you going to want an fmu if your tuner wants to use it on his setups thats fine i would look into something else. def, keep your trans ls trannies are for the peopl running a good amount of power. your not going to need much to get what you want so you dont have to drop a ton of money on name brand parts enless you plan on going bigger down the road, trust me 250whp will get old real fast. youll want to run more boost eventually so i would buy parts assuming your going to want more.

whats your budget?

i think that makes it a B18C

lol you might as well stay N/A

seriously though. keep researching and you will get the setup straightened out. a stock block gsr is good for 300whp. and as mentioned above ditch the FMU, i dont care what your so called "tuner" says.

hahah thats funny... i wouldn't even let him tune my car if he paid me.

he told you not to because he doesnt know how to tune a car. without a chipped ecu there is nothing to adjust lol. what exactly does he tune lol. i really hope he wasnt the one that told you to run larger injectors on a stock ecu with an fmu.

i notice at the end of your beginning post you say "and a good tune" you are eliminating any option of tuning. what is he gonna dial in the fuel pressure regulator lol.

also not sure how much the exedy stage one holds but i think thats more for an all motor setup.

i would pull a gun on this guy if he tried to get near my car.

youre being too reasonable

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by GQej1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I know no one cares but I'm pretty much using this to put my thoughts down and maybe get some good advise.

Current setup in my 95 civic coupe:

B18c1 (JDM w/Higher compression than USDM)
Blox intake manifold
CTR cams
B16 transmission (YS1)
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
2.5" header back (no cat)
Everything else is stock

I'm looking to:
Turbo for a little over 225 WHP
I want to keep the AC and PS

Parts I think I need:
I want to get and LS transmission
Vortex FMU
Bigger injectors
t3/t4 turbo
HKS BOV
Slim intercooler and piping(flat blacked)
Greddy or Rev hard manifold
Downpipe
Tial Wastegate
Cam gears
Oil lines and T bolt clamps

AND A GOOD TUNE
I think thats all HAHA.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

if yor motor is stamped B18C1 its a USDM motor not JDM. and if your tranny is a YS1 its a cable tranny, do you have cable tranny conversion?
