I'm currently Building a 1.6 d16z6 block with an d16y8 Head. My question is I have the block on an engine stand getting preped all of the cylinder head bolts are in place with the head off but the one closest too the thermostate does not go in all the way down like the others you can tell with your eyes just buy looking at the rest and that one. I would like to hear from anybody who has taken of there head does that bolt stick out more then the others. Thank you!

 

for a mini me u need to use all but 1 headstud....

so for ur setup with the z6 block and Y head you need 9 Z6 Headstuds and 1 Y headstud... the y headstud goes in the hole near the vtec solenoid
