a crx with a 4spd?

That would have to be an out of the US model or a swap from a civic std/cx.

It's the HF gears with out a 5th. Lose that tranny ASAP. Even if it's just to save gast get a HF tranny.

Another question:
If I have a trany from a 88 crx si can I change the 5th gear only and use a taller gear??? I see the ZC engine has a better 5th, can I use that one or do you guys have any better idea on better 5th gear ???? how about the 5th gear from Delsol Vtec would that fit ion my L3 box???

yes, you can change 5th gear only - the ZC does not have a taller 5th - it is shorter - the HF has the taller 5th - also the 92-95 D-series (except Si HB and Del Sol Si, which are almost the same as 88-91 DX/Si) are taller

Unless you are talking about later when the us got a cx badge on base model cars. But that's not in the 4th gen era.

Yup, my bad. Forgot I was in the 4th gen forum. So used to being in 5th/6th gen forum.
