Default D16A9 in the US???

I live In Peru (south america if you don´t know jajaja) I´ve been searchin for some information about my engine D16A9 but I haven´t found to much. This engine came here in the Civic Si 1.6 DOHC non- vtec. It´s a little extrange and hard to find information about it. Anyone who knows where to find? or, whta´s the equivalent in other engine code?

We didn't have that engine or its equivalent in the US. The DOHC ZC is the same engine from Japan and Europe. It's a very popular swap in the U.S.

And if anybody dares mention it, it is NOT the same as the 88-89 Integra motor.

and you should add that only a small amount of parts are interchangeable between the dohc zc and the d16a1.

This is true. OP, here's a link to a reliable parts list if you need to order parts from the U.S.
