Default Replacing Wheel Studs

I have a 2000 civic ex and a while back both of my front wheels came loose while I was driving and I found out today that it did more damage than I thought. Today when I was taking my front rims off to lower the car a little more one passenger and two driver side wheel studs snapped. So, I went to the auto parts store and picked up the new studs, but now I have run into a problem. I have the rotor and everything off and then tried to get the broken studs out and that is when I saw that they only go so far until the hit something. I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what I need to do to get these studs out so that I can get the car fixed without havin to take it to a shop and paying 50 bux. Thanks

Is the tool that I need for this a slide hammer? This looks like I will be having to keep the show car parked for a couple of days and have to drive the B16 pwrd hatch instead of pulling the motor out like I wanted to. Well, thanks so far for the quick replies.
