is the Dx ad Si heads the same??
need help.. i had my D16A6 head warp and is now no good, was resurfaced last time, 15 times.. now the motor lost compression.. i have a motor from the DX civic and wont to use the head... i think the head from the DX is the same as the Si... 1988=SI 89-DX.. i wont to put the DX head on the SI block.. need help????? would it work and what i need to make it work...

Learn to use the enter key, the shift key to capitalise properly and that ... does not equate to a period.
The DX head has a slightly less aggressive cam and is DPFI, otherwise it's the same.

Like he said, the casting of the head is the same, the only difference is the valve springs, and the cam. Just swap over all the SI valvetrain into the DX and slap it on.
