DOHC ZC Half Shaft
Ive noticed that some of the DOHC ZC motors have half or intermediate drive shafts bolted to the back of the block and have equal lenght axles. Ive also been told that Most SOHC motors have the holes on the block for the shaft but they are not threaded. Has anyone does this before from a DOHC ZC motor or maybe even a D16A1 integra motor onto say an A6 or Z6?

This is not true.
This is not true.
I have a zc trans(lsd) on my z6 which requires the half shaft and there are three holes on the z6 block where the intermediate shaft goes. Only 1 of the is threaded. This I know for sure 100 percent.
jayjay, i kno to some extent it is true, as i kno the ZC intermediate shaft does indeed work, the d16a1 however i am not sure on, im mainly looking for what axles i need after installing the intermediate shaft on a crx SI tranny with a z6
Why????
you just want egual length axles? Truthfully they are not needed unless you are running a high horsepower set-up.
I ran my turbo dohc zc for 2 years on a Stock Si trans and axles with no issues.

The intermediate shaft will NOT work with the si tranny as the shaft diameter is different. The zc interemediate shaft is larger than the si axle diameter. In order to use equal shafts on a d series motor you need a zc tranny.
zc tarnny plus zc intermediate shaft plus z6= success
si tranny plus zc intermediate shaft plus z6=failure(does not fit)
I am 100 percent sure of this as I have the set up on my ride.
