Hi everyone. I'd really appreciate some help with a problem I'm having. I have a 98 Accord coupe and I'm having problems with the car while I'm driving. The car seems to start fine with no problems, but after driving for a while, everything just completely shuts off for a second and then turns back on again. Everything on the tachometer just dies and my radio shuts off, and the car kind of shakes a little. After less than a second, everything then turns back on again (except for my radio which I have to turn on). I've tried driving with my radio off and it still happens. After all this, I am still able to drive and I do not have to restart the car. Does anyone know what this problem might be? I've read that it might be the main relay because it's been hot as hell where I live recently (90+). I've recently replaced the starter and the whole distributor, if that's important to the problem at all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks for your time.

 

Have your battery and alternator tested.
