Default ZC not starting, timing or main relay??:

Alright, I'm officially stumped here. Now the car was turning over a lot with both fuel pressure and spark. I tried to look at the timing belt and from what i could tell it looked like it may be slightly off (gauging by how much the up arrows and PM7 arrows are inline). A while back I got an engine code "8" which i've read (on separate occasions) is both attributed to timing AND some kind of bearing in the ignition dist. Well, when i first got the code 8, i just cleaned my distributor cap and it went away, then came back a few montsh later, cleans the distributor cap again and it went back away. I gotta ask, when you get a TDC code on a Honda does it mean the timing is off or the distributor is going bad???? Also I saw on a FAQ post that if your car doesn't start you need to change the main relay; so those are the 2 options im looking at now: timing and main relay. If anyone has got an answer here that'd be greatly appreciated!!
