honestly for a base
i don't know
but for a turbo, you'll have many to choose from and that's what most will recommend

turbo>s/c on any 4 cylinder

at least going in a straight line. with a properly sized turbo theyre great for cornering too.

correct...I hate when people make assumptions that turbo is better than s/c

you will get alot of HP with turbo but with that comes more traction problems i have to agree i think S/C is more ideal and with a good set up you can make some good numbers. im actually interested in seeing what the new rotrex jackson racing superchargers are going to put out. i think once you get around 400whp its kinda pointless on a car thats not just a drag car

I have a evo ...its awd drive for you that dont know the car and im putting out about 400hp at crank and if i pop the clucth i can spin all 4 wheeles. The point of me saying this is I AGREE the is no point to having more the 400hp you cant get it to the ground on a fwd car! I also think that s/c the k20 is all you really need you can make good power with that and there is alot less **** that you have to worry about ..I.E. front mount in snow or just even the rocks and **** that hit it. on the flip side if you setup the turbo right you can have max boost at 2800rpm or lower its all about how much money and time you want to put in to it. I have the stock 16G on my 2.0L evo and i get 20psi by 3krpm and 15psi is at about 2800. I do have mods done to it.. tbe intake ecu and fuel. but the point to this is turbos are better in almost every way but cost more or less thats what really comes down to. Heat soak affects turbos a little more but superchargers have it too.
