You hope your 30r is going to be a big enough turbo for the motor?? What internals are you running. This thread is pointless without specs.

it has darton sleeves, bored to a 2.0L, ross 8.5:1 pistons, eagle h-beam rods, crower crank, big jge valves, jge valve spring and titanium retainers, aem fuel rail, pro series intake, skunk 2 cam gears, obx stage 2 cams,65mm throttle body, 7.5 lbs flywheel, rc 1000cc injectors. fuel system, gt30r turbo, no a/c, no power steering, 25-30psi boost, and a real good tune. i feel like im for getting something but all well u get the picture

yeah i should have gotten like 9:1 ratio cuz now i have to add even more boost to make up for the difference. but all well it sounds kinda cool when people ask how much boost im runnin and im like 30. lol but yeah the flywheel is made by fidanza.

hmmm should be a good setup. Good luck with the 600 whp. You might need a bigger turbo, and for sure a better manifold.

Please put timing covers back on the motor before you drop it in. They exist for a reason and that reason is to keep a pebble from grenading your $10,000 investment at 65mph on the highway.

Also, that valve cover is hideous.

8.5 : 1 compression is also an ill-conceived build spec. Not sure why you did that

Yeah all that money and no timing cover and a stock crank pulley.

I actually like the valve cover, but I do agree, put that timing belt cover back on if for nothing else to protect the **** out of that motor. Nice though, I drooled a bit.

OBX Cams FTL.....the cheap metal they use expands too much with heat and will most likely lock up your valvetrain. Steve and Mike at TSR were telling me about a motor they had to rebuild for a customer for that reason.

oof. yes, definately put it back on. I had the timing belt break on my teg.. got lucky and it didnt do any major damage, but i still lost half my compression on 3 of 4 cylinders

Sounds great though man, the mounts should be painted some other color, not too crazy about the valve cover either, but it's not that bad

On 2nd thought, definitely paint the mounts man, that blue is awful.
