i have an aem wide band now i took these pics right after i took it home from the shop after they did the exhaust
udring that time i used the stock wideband and kpro

on the old setup you have a breather from the valve cover instead of going straight to your intake pipe is tis better because i have the greddy kit on an a3. and the damn hose is always loose. wehn you going to get some numbers
i took the blow by hose off because the blow by was creating too much gunky oil deposits in the compressor side of the turbo creating more lag and alot of induction noise and at times it sounded like a freking semi
im still waiting on tuning right now maybe when it gets a bit cooler outside so it will be safe during winter then ill get retuned in the summer
ive seen similar setups get on avgerage 500+ on pump gas but of course they have 1000cc injectors and since i dont want to run a resistor box geoff from full race said that with my setup and the 750's,single walbro, and the relay mod to boost the voltage to 14vdc the fuel system should support 570 safely
but if it calls for it i have an extra inline of the same flow and pressure ready to install

sorry bro i cant stand those things id rather have ctr projectors

so did you just cap off the side on the intake pipe?. and with what did you do it with. also was that just a hose with a breather. with your greddy kit did you ever have an issue with smoke when runing hot?
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by weltall »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">hondata boost by gear FTW
im gonna be getting wider DR's here soon </TD></TR></TABLE>
so how does boost by gear work and is it difficult because my first gear is almost worhtless. and I can do that with hondata

yes i capped of the intake side of the pipe eventually i got rid of the hose and just crammed the breather on the VC
no smoke ever i ran 10w30 you should never run 5w20 with that kit is it one of the many reason the turbo smokes (read my stickies on ephatch in the boost section)
boost by gear is just a gm boost solenoid that works with set parameters in kpro
it works kinda shitty with the greddy kit and there is a sticky on it in the boost sectiion of ephatch for that specific kit (look at my correction in the thread caus ethe guy who did it was a moron)

no that wasn't me at fayetteville. your probably talking about icebergslims car. my car hit 10's.
i'd say it should make 550. but yea i'm using 1000cc injectors my setup makes 614.
just curious but did you widen your crank and use wider bearings? or is it an a3 crank?

Nice ep3! can't wait to see times and dyno results!

why not? a2 is a great engine to boost.

no its an a2 the bottom end is just micro polished thats it
the only thing different with your sertup is the injectors?

injectors, my crank is custom grind, i use custom rods/pistons and use an h22 rod bearing. ther was problems with spining rod bearings on high hp a2's. the a3's have wider bearings to begin with. so most people just use a3 cranks and rods.
but typically yea are builds are very similar. power wise should be the same it's just the posibility of spinning a bearing that is greater on your part.
and you've got a good turbo. the 35r makes good power and spools quick. i had one when i had my first setup.

the a3 cranks are junk dude not because of what you described but overall very weak
ive seen them snap in half on attempts to make high power on the a3
plus the form of balancing they used on them comes into question
in not trying to down play what you know or seen but the crank has been the downfall of many builds using an a3 block and is why the a3 can be had for dirt man i sold my long block for 500 (minus alot of **** of course) just a bare bones block
id like to get up with you sometime
mind if i ask where you got tuned? and how much it was?

yea i've seen that too. my budy built his a3 and broke his crank making 480hp. he got another a3 crank and sent it to castillo's and now on his new a3 build he's making close to 570 with 1000cc injectors and a 37r.
howard shoaf at speed inovations and rlz engineering is where mine was tuned at. it's actually where i'm working right now. lol. i'll ask what he'll charge to tune yours. mine was cheap to tune, just because i've known howard for years.
where are you located?
