Im selling rims and the guy wants them but he wants to COD it. I'm not too familiar with it because I never done it before. Now I know COD means Cash On Delivery, but who pays for the shipping first? and what if he refuses it? am I fucked? I trust this guy but theres always a "what-if"....and what if he decides not to buy it. What happens? does it come back to me w/o shipping charges? who pays for shipping and when do they pay? I just need to know from someone with experience on this.or some knowledge...Thanks..

Why does this guy want COD? If he feels he needs to see the merchandise before he pays he's wrong. They will not allow you to open the package until payment is made.

Your the seller, you keep the control. I personally would have him do paypal or send a money order.

 

So he CANT see it before he pays? I'm not ripping him off or anything...but I dont want him to change his mind when he sees it..and then i'll be fucked..I can care less with what method he pays with. I just dont wanna be ripped...as long as I get my money..and he get his rims..I'll be happy..but lets say he does buy it. Who pays for the shipping? Do I pay for it first and then he'll re-emberse..(I dont know how to spell it) me when he pays? or does he pay everything at the time its being delivered? also, how is the transaction made?

 

when you COD, they do not release the package, until the shipee has paid the ups guy. I'd be more worried about the buyer flaking, than getting scammed.

 

what if he flakes..what happens? do i end up paying for shipping and getting nothing in return?
