Default ac has gone crazy HELP

it used to do this way less but its become really bad

the compressor will kick on and it will blow cold air
every 5-10 misn it will cut off (normal driving)
for about 2 mins then come back on for 5 to 10 then kick off

when the compressor kicks off the air is hot and mucky

whats goin on?

on cool nights it doesnt do ti nearly as bad

mainly in HOT day weather and sometimes at higher RPM's

is it my compressor?

or comp clutch?

or some relay that controls it has malfuncted

if you compressor engages and the condensor fan works.that means time to recharge the ac system and maybe check for the leak n make sure compressor does not seize up.also if your ac dryer/ receiver is old, u might want to replace it too

are you sure it is your compressor.

to get cold air from your a/c, air has to flow through your condensor. so if your fan is bad, or the relay is intermitting, this will be the cause of the hot air. but then when you drive you notice it cooling down, that is the air flowing through the condensor.

i would check the fan and the relay to see if they are fully operational before replacing a expensive part like the condensor.
