Default New Vs. Old sway bar

I was wondering if sway bars can go bad? I'm looking to buy a used 03 type R sway bar and I'm wondering if it'll be as good as a brand new one? thanks!

I just want to make sure so I don't make an offer to high

If it fits perfect with no rust it's as good as new.

The front OEM is bigger than the rear OEM. The front has to stop a lot more weight from rolling. With an upgraded rear (22mm), understeer is back to stock feeling (with a lot less roll). And that's what an alignment is for anyways...

How about a civic ex front sway? It's 24.5 mm I believe. Oh it's $45 brand new. It should clear your ITR header cause it can clear my BCRH.

I already bought the CTR one and this is how it goes....

- civic ex 01-02 = 25.4mm (this is the one you want)
- civic ex 03-05 = 16mm

- ITR front sway will not fit unless you have the ITR control arms, b/c the ITR's are wider then our USDM Type S's

- CTR's are the same width as our USDM Type S's so the Front sway bar is interchangeable with our cars

So if you need to buy a front sway bar for your RH or ITR header and you have the USDM control arms, buy the 01-02 civic ex or the CTR front sway bar

and if you're baller and have the aluminum ITR control arms then you can put the ITR front sway bar on
