Default Input Needed: What would be a fair price for a legit rebuilt ITR long block?

My ITR rebuild project has taken a change of direction so I will have an extra ITR long block to sell soon.
Please DO NOT contact me about the sell of this engine as I will post it when it is ready

The USDM ITR block was acquired legitimately and built by DonF. It will have all new parts including: OS JDM ITR pistons, ARP rod bolts, and OEM bottom end parts, seals, pumps, thermostat, tensioner, etc. I have receipts for all of it. The head is completely stock and only 20k on it.

This will be a long block only so no manifolds, dist., solenoid, etc.

What would be a good asking price? I've never sold an engine before.

FWIW, I bought a legit dealership short block with CTR pistons in it for 1K. HTH with a price direction.

Dave - You say legit dealership meaning it had the orange paint on the block stamp? Did the bottom end have mileage on it or was it a fresh rebuild?

I rephrased my question above. The long block would be rebuilt/assembled/and have 0 miles on it when it is put up for sale. This would be ready to drop in the car and break-in.

There was 9k on it when I bought it.

I believe this to be close/correct as the factory cross hatches in the bore were clearly visable and not "faded"

sons acura(Baranco)

sells the block assy for $1957.30

and the head assy for $1433.59

assuming that there long block and your long block have the same amount of parts w/ them...

I do not see why you would not be able to get at least 2500-2800 for your setup....because your head is not new

that would save someone $600-900

edit: eh, the more I think about it, you should be able to get closer to 3000 I would think

20k miles is barely broken in, and the DonF build is probably better than factory

I would ask for no less than 3k. Especially being rebuilt with everything new. Pretty sure the rebuilt cost you a pretty penny. Don F is the man for Rebuild! Got mines done by him a couple months ago and have no complaints!
