Default Smsp or Toda

Which header would be better for the ITR? The Toda or the SMTP? The great dyno test showed that both gave 14 hp and about 7 lbs/t. I currently have the AEM intake and also plan on getting the Thermal axel back exhaust as I hear it is one of the better ones. Also, what are the price differences between the two headers? Thanks!

There is a guy selling his used Toda header for $800 in the classifieds... which I think is a good price.

Ignore that Splat guy, he doesn't even own an ITR, what does he know?

For us ITR owners, it's nothing but the best. The Chikara header made the most power in the Great Header Test but it was removed from the results because TODA threatened to sue the people who ran the test.

Chikara

Also ditch the AEM, the Ractive ram air intake makes more power, DYNO PROVEN.

How about that Deez Nutz In Your Mouth header. It's on back order though.

EDIT - Sorry guy. Had a boring day at work and I needed to vent. Nothing personal.

Not sure, but Summit Racing carries it. Jegs might also.

It makes lots of power on the low end and the top end is just mad crazy. I'm still salty that I got my TODA header after that test came out. This TODA is overpriced and still can't outperform the Chikara.

What's the collector size? 1.75? Smaller the better. The smaller the collector is, the faster the air flows thus like a ram air effect but for the exhaust.

You clearly know nothing. It's not ram air, but a Ventuli effect.

I wish you would stop trying to mislead him with your false information.

My bad my bad... What about the exhaust? Aren't bottle necks better since it creates more back pressure thus helping out low end tq?

Yes, yes it is. Bottlenecks in exhausts serve the same purpose as beer bottlenecks. Slow flow means less spills

No, you see ideally you'd want a 2" collector (since no one makes a 2" version, 2 1/4" will work) to create the Ventuli effect and speed up air velocity. Ok so once your exhaust goes through the collector it's traveling at a high rate of speed. So the exhaust needs to be as big as possible (usually 3" is the biggest that can be used, but the bigger the better) to let all the exhaust gas maintain it's high velocity.
