My 98 Accords window while driving fell yesterday. When I took door panel off I see that the metal cord that some how connects to the window had come off. Do I need to get a whole new setup or can I fix this. Also how do I take window out and is there a way to get to all that stuff easily?

 

cable style regulator? piece of junk IMHO. yeah you have to get a new regulator from the dealer, here's the real kick in the ***, it comes with a new motor so it's more expensive.
Peel the plastic back and you'll find 10mm bolts that hold the window to the regulator and 10mm bolts holding the regulator to the door metal.
Hey don't shoot the messenger; just keep the run channels cleaned and silicone lubed, so you don't have to go thru this again.
