Default What rings to use when oem don't fit?

Like the title says, what rings do everyone use when oem gaps end up too large? Im assembling an engine for a local kid and oem rings are coming up 0.0019-0.002" gap. PTW is on the looser side of oem specs but still in the range. Ive thought about Hastings but I don't have any faith that they will be tighter.

Anyone have experience with Perfect Circle file-to-fit rings?

I have not used PC rings on a Honda, but those and Speed-Pro were all we used on other race engines. I would go for it. I am now going to order some, thanks for that site.

No problem, thanks for the insight. I'll be going to the local car-quest tomorrow to order them.

Get the .005 if that fits your application, then fill-fit. PM me if you have questions.
