looking for a DIY for rolling fenders

anyone know of a DIY on rolling your fenders? i konw some of you have done it just looking for a write up of some kind.
what some people do, which is what I did and i learned there is a more professional way but i listened to dumb high school friends when i just graduated which is the wrong decision i made.
you can jack your car up and put a bat in. roll it around. it rolls it pretty nice and smooth but it might chip the paint. a wood bat would be safe.

Tips:
1. Don't try to do too much too soon. Take your time to avoid cracking the paint on the inside of your fender. I 'rushed' the second fender I did and it cracked quite a bit. I coated the lip with some black under-body protector to hopefully keep it safe from rust. It may also help to use a heat gun to warm the paint before working on it to make the paint somewhat more flexible.
2. Put a rag between you car and the bat... this will keep the paint from the bat form damaging the paint on your car.
3. You'll constantly need to raise and lower your car with the jack in order to get the bat in and out of the fender... make sure you have your wheels chocked so your car doesn't roll back unexpectedly.
4. Only roll as much as you need to! Don't risk cracking the paint by trying to roll the whole lip (like I did!) I've been told that you only need to roll the very top of the lip. I'd suggest rolling a little, then drive your car to see if you've cured you problem.
5. Make sure you have a small chair available or your back will be killing you from bending over!

that tool they used is pretty nifty. looks like it makes it pretty easy to roll em
yeh. you can do it with a bat too. some say wooden and heat gun as well. jack the car up a bit fit the bat in, and lower the car again. heat the area and roll slowly. not fast as it will chip the paint. sounds familiar...

how do you apply enough pressure to the bat? do you leave the tire on to give leverage or something?
if your car is lowered and you jack up the bat to put it in there and lower the car. that's already a ton of pressure on it. you don't want remove the jack completely lol just enough for pressure. and since you're heating the metal it will bend easily.

PS. You may want to try the second method he uses. The hammering will almost guarantee flaking paint.

I'm kind of in aw... the science behind it doesn't make complete sense.
-I would think the bending would damage the clear coat and paint since your are theoretically stretching the outside of the metal
I suppose if you did it gradually and evenly enough it could work but I would imagine there are alot of people out there that have messed up the wheel well by not having enough patience/gracefulness

basically it's gone. if you're really good you can get it flat but if not you're still gaining more clearance for bigger tires and allowing a straighter stance.
