I got a Kenwood KDC-8007 when i bought my 96 civic dx. It was already installed in the car and just recently the lights at night stopped working. but, when the face folded down so you could put in the cd it would sometimes light up but the second it went back up the lights would turn off of it. Now i can never get the lights on in it does anyone know what could be the prob? please help

 

Sometimes those things have ribbon cables inside that flex when faces fold down, flip, or whatever. could be hairline cracks in there across the cable.

 

is there anyway i can fix that or do u need to get a new cable or send it somewhere or something
