Engine and Inner fender splash shield...important?

Is it important to have an engine and inner fender splash shields?

yes, it is important to have an engine.

The inner fender liners help if you plan on driving in the rain.

If don't plan on driving the car much, than there isn't a point to have them on. But if you daily it, yes it is a smart idea to have them on.
