Hey i have a stock honda CRX that im totally in love with. Shes in almost mint condition. I was wondering what simple upgrades other than the intake, rims, exaust, I can do to kinda Jazz her up a bit. (and if anyone has any parts lying around). I have to put the throttle body back on tomorrow. Had the tps go out on me).

 

come on man those stickers must have givin you atleast 200hp to the wheels.

honestly most upgrades are simple if you are skilled but if you are talking just about simple bolt on ****. intake header exhaust. and if you want a little more power or actually quite a bit more power I would suggest a good cam and cam gear with fuel pressure regulator and get it tuned. but thats not as simple

 

To get any real power you will have to swap the motor or boost the single cam.

No cheap or inexpensive ways to get substantial power out of the stock setup.

Unless you throw some nitrous on there and hope for the best.

I have a SI head, thats ported and polished I just have to wait to order a new cam and lifter **** for it. I am thinking if I decide to keep it im going to go ahead and do a swap. But im in college, and I have a year old son so that kinda sets back on the funds.

Ditch the stickers, thats free and will save you the embarrassment of people on this forum commenting about how lame they are, and save you the embarrassment of your schoolmates commenting on them. Some very cheap upgrades once you've done the obvious Intake, Exhaust, Header are new or reground cam, chipped ecu, sway bars, strut bars, and a fuel pressure regulator. If I were you though I would start saving for some coilovers or a good spring/shock combo because your car looks like its 4x4 status.
