i have a 81x89 ls/v with a gsr head milled 10-thousands and in the block 12.4:1 pistons with out vtec head, now the question, i was tryin to get a cometic gasket in a 40-thousands but could not find it but found a 52-thousands how much of a difference will it make on my set-up compression wise? the way im looking at it, it would be 52thousands gasket but since the head is milled it would be more like a 42thousands right? how much compression will i lose

thanx but i already have that 52 on the way i should have it before friday i already found out my compression is gonna drop from 12.4:1 to 12.1:1 some im sad about it but oh well

 

12:1 is just about right to run with pump gas...anything higher than that is gonna need something better than 93

 

i didnt plan on d.d it but its ok im only gonna be on this set-up until pomona then im going bigger
