Default some feedbacks for the noobie

my cousin just bought a 99 ek hatch for his daily driver he just wants a 2"-2.5" drop for his ek. preferably lowering springs on stock shocks and struts. he was thinking of skunk2 lowering springs or ksport lowering springs.

thanks for the help...please no flaming...just asking a question

I would look at some H&R race springs and some Neuspeed race springs.

At a drop of 2" + I would suggest going with some new struts

Yeah... 2" is too much of a drop without changing your struts. You are bound to blow one out at that ride height.

X2. This is one of those pay me now or pay me later kind of things. With a 2" drop he will need new shocks soon because stock shocks were never designed to go that low. They will blow out.

lol noobs fear the wrath of H-T

ive seen 1.5"-2" drops on stock shocks that have lasted years BUT thats usually not the case in most situations. dish out the extra $$$ and get the shocks

x2, if you're on a budget, get H&R/neuspeed races and some kyb agx's.

Or illuminas.

tein s. techs are a 1.8" drop and are okay for stock shocks. They retail for ~$150.
