Default will this work...

will this exhaust silencer insert silence my exhaust without losing any power? it is manufactured by Skunk2.

Absolutely not. You'd likely be better off with the stock exhaust rather than plugging yours up with a silencer.

It will certainly quiet down the exhaust, but it will do so at the expense of power, which was part of the original question.

lol, mine fell off while I was driving. They're really not worth having them on your car. Better off with stock exhaust

Makes it hiss, lets off a higher pitch 'fart'. Investing in Second resonators or a CAT (if you are running a test pipe) will surely quiet down your exhaust. As mentioned before, stock will work just as well, but if you value your system, upgrading with a second resonator, and\or putting the CAT back in will tone it down. I believe theres a whole write-up of the dynamics under the FAQ's.
