grab your voltmeter. green wire is your ground or use chassis ground, red one is your 0-5v. if you have never removed your tps before youll need to cut slots in the the top of the screws that attach it to the throttle body. loosen screws just enough so you can move it. at idle you want .45-.50 volts. thats it.

Turn the key to the ON (II) position (engine not on), and back probe the signal wire. It normally helps to remove the throttle body when doing adjustments, and will not affect it when its removed. (I adjust mine with a VAFC.)

The connector must be plugged it, or else you wont get a reading. sticking a small sewing needle in the rubber insulation provides a good contact without harming the harness. Then simply hook up your voltmeter to that lead, and the other lead to the sensor ground wire. (using the same backprobe method with another pin) Tune it to .45ish volts fully closed by adjusting the screws on the TPS itself. I cut them off, and replace them with bolts, as I hate stuff I cant easily remove.
