itr header w. EM1 sway bar
I was told that i could use an em1 sway bar to clear my ITR header? just wanted to double check I can't find the previous thread about it..... also, i heard that the EM1 sway bar is 25mm, is this going to effect performance around turns? under steer more?
well im glad to hear that, i canceled the type R front sway bar that was 150 to buy the 50 dollar em1 sway bar.
enough under steer that I'll notice?
EDIT: also how big is our rear sway bar?

Depends on the driver ... I noticed car behavior changes when I swaped out my sway bars however I do spend a good bit of time on track pushing my car around.
The stock rear sway should be a solid 19mm bar

Does anyone know if the EM1 sway bar will be lesser quality then my current sway bar, body roll, or will the front end be stiffer since its a 25mm vs. the type s 22mm? And, why does progressive go with a 27mm front sway bar and only a 25mm rear? And one more for you guys,
what rear sway bar do you guys suggest I go with to balance the car out? Thanks for all your input!

so you have the ITR header?
the thing that confuses me is why is the ITR sway bar 21mm and our stock one is 22mm? The ITR rides tighter, but it has a softer sway bar??

The ITR has stiffer springs and shocks to match. Swaybars tune the car, and to find a good balance in handling different diameters are chosen.
Personally a 25mm+ front sway is just asking the DC5 chassis to understeer more than it already does.

I run a Buddy club race header which not many sway bars work with. I wasn't even aware an em1 front sway bar would fit the rsx, but the em2 is one of the newer civic ex sway bars that is a 25mm..
The stock rear on the 02-04 is around 19mm and the stock rear on the 05-06 is 21mm so yes the itr is alil bigger in the rear

ITR rear sway or larger ... esp if you plan on running a larger front bar. Mugen sells a 32mm rear sway if feel a little crazy!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Mugen doesn't make a 32mm. I believe ASR makes it.

gradydc5 you are correct. normally that setup would be great for auto-x. and no you do not have to run a smaller bar, just a different bar that will clear the jdm headers (yes i'm talking about all of them)
