when i 1st got my hids for my type s back in march they looked blue but now when i turn them on they still look blue but dats only when they charge up after that they look blue-ish green....whats up w/dat can anyone help me on this one???? thanks in advance

 

1. there fake and should never have been on ur car in the 1st place,

2. the bulbs are prob bad.

3. the ballist could be bad also

 

from what i hear
hids rise in kelvin over time
a 6000k would look like 8000k within a few years
i guess...

 

thanks for the reply guys but i found out wat was wrong teh bulbs were going bad already since my dumbass had them on 24/7 i was wasting the bulbs in broad day light just to show off lol but i had an xtra set of 8000k bulbs lying around and compared them to the ones that were messing up and found that close to the end of the bulb there is a small circle that fills up wat seems to be white powder and the new ones dnt but now w/those new bulbs theyre back to 8000k blue!!!
