My Antilag on crome vid
There was a big discussion of getting antilag to work on crome. this is how my car was doing with it. I was leaving on 8-9psi. you can kinda see it shooting flames out of the downpipe underneath the car.
And ignore the smoke, the week prior i had killed a ringland on one of the pistons so i figured this was a good time to try to get the antilag bugs worked out. And since i was building way more boost on the line and leaving on very sticky tires, the clutch decided to blow up, so i had just enough clutch that i had to let it rev down to shift.
Just thought id share.

Ya im still only at 10psi. i dont have the antilag setup on it now cause its got the B20 in it. And you need to have a vtec setup in cause all the adjustments have to be done on the low cam. Settings are -2* of timing from 5k-6krpm, and +20% fuel in the same region, and the FTL set at 5800.
interesting, what kind of manifold & turbo do you have? and how do they hold up with the raw fuel being dumped and combusted in the manifold?
and how hard is it to tune an anti lag system on crome? id like to try it, but i dont want all my parts to go to ****.

that sounds like a lil baby anit lag. Does crome have a "real" anti lag system?

Im using cheap ebay manifold and t3/t4 57trim turbo. im sure there are some lasting effects of the setup, but really inside the car it doesnt seem too drastic. As for Crome having a real antilag setup....I think theres supposed to one on CromePro, but i dont know.

Crome does not have anti-lag yet.
I've done real anti-lag with a bunch of others using Crome, but it doesn't render the car too drivable as their are bugs with the ign. cut script. It did build 15psi of boost off the line at 5400rpm on a 57trim, but like I said this was unsafe to drive on.
Real anti-lag needs a lot of ignition retard (in the negatives) and lots of fuel being dumped along with an ignition cut instead of fuel being cut at the desired RPM.

Ya the driveability wasnt the greatest. But i figure if i can get it dialed in for track use, ill just burn 2 chips, one with the antilag, and one without, and just run the race setup at the track.
Im running a LS and Crome I went into the columm right where i launch at 7000-7200 and pulled all the timing out between 3" vacum to 8psi and dumped a bunch of fuel in and it builds 9psi for me.Im never at the high of rpm and that low of boost driving so its fine as im running 15psi.It is enough to be able to launch decent all though i could use a little more.

what do you mean it was unsafe to drive on? if you set vtec low enough so that you dont dip into low cam on a lazy shift, you should never be in the anti lag reigon right? wich ign. cut script were you using?

Car I tuned a while back. About 18lbs - 20lbs on pump gas. The race gas was alot more fun
If I remember correctly it was running a GT35RLS

correct me if i'm wrong but the 2 step rev limiter lets you rev to a certain rpm and boost, it's to get the car into boost right at launch to avoid boost lag. something i need in my car...

By retarding the ignition so late that the still hot flame front travels out of the exhaust valve to the turbo. Dump extra fuel in and you get more explosion. This spools the turbo up when you technically have no load on the car. Nice benefit, but it hurts the exhaust valves and turbo by banging them with explosions and excess heat.

No a 2-step rev limiter is exactly that......a 2nd rev limiter. All this does is either cut fuel (what most modded Honda ECU's do) or cut ignition. Either way it doesn't describe what I explained above.....that is anti-lag
