I decided to toss the LS (pomansouth01 got it) and buy a JDM ITR from Hmotors. While the motor is out I am painting the bay, replacing the SS brake lines (mine busted), 40/40 prop valve, new SS clutch line, mild wire tuck, etc !! Thanks to pomansouth01 and BaconLettuceTomato for the help.

I am shooting for 200+ whp out of the JDM ITR. AEBS intake mani, BPi V-stack 3" intake, Hytech replica header, BC Spec 3+ cams or Skunk Stage 2 Cams, 2.5" K-Teller exhaust, and Tuned w/ Crome Pro !!

Goodluck with the motor. Hopefully one day i will have money to be able to swap a motor like that in my car too

You won't be dissapointed with that, I too ordered my JDM ITR motor from HMotors and swapped it into my DA. Love every bit of it Which spec did you get?

'97 Spec Long block..i already have a CTR tranny.

Take the coilover off.. U might end up painting the coilover and it will look ugly.. It is up to u

how long did it take you to take all those clutch/brake lines, bolts, etc. out of your engine bay? I'm still debate'n if I should paint my engine bay too...but don't where to start.

I have some index cards that will fit btwn. the coilover and the bay. If it doesnt work I have some spares ima put on.
