skunk2 turbo1 cams good/bad
Well i was going to get forced induction so i went ahead and bought some skunk2 turbo1 cams. I had some money stuff jump up so i didnt get the turbo kit but tax time i will. i was told to go ahead and put them in and it would add like 15-20 hp. I cant tell if they are doing anything. My car dosent seem to run as well because it opens the valves to much. my question is, should i leave them in or take them out and put the oem back ones back in? someone told me i wont get anythting untill i have bigger injectors, how true is that and what should i do? anything will hwlp
thanks for your time

did you have your car re-tuned once you put the cams in because your stock cams have a much higher overlap compared to turbo cams... the turbo cams have a shorter duration to prevent exhaust creep... and the injector size will really make no difference if you already upgraded them when you turboed it in the first place... tuning is your best friend
well i dont have it turboed yet. because of money, but i was told not to tune it yet because i would have to retune it when i got my turbo kit on.
I'd honestly just sell the cams and spend the money on something else. You'll still be able to make a large amount of power using the stock cams.

Not necessarily. Plenty of people make a great deal of power using the stock cams on turbocharged applications. A good tune is far more important.
