I'm looking at buying this ITR. What do you guys think?

Definitely worth checking out if you want a JDM front black R. It's missing the ITR front seats and a couple small items. Not exactly a deal breaker though. Just inspect it carefully to see if it was in an accident or something. A lot of owners do the JDM front after smashing their USDM front.

Definitely worth checking out, but like he said make sure you get a carfax.

 

I went and test drove it today and it drives nice. it has a i/h/e already. The first thing that I noticed is that it didn't have the stock seats. I mentioned that when I talked to the salesman. The price is flexable and he knows he can't try to con me.

I forgot to look at the number also. Is it on the armrest?

Good to hear the test drive went well. Get to poke around under the car and check for frame or other body damage?

 

Seems like a killer deal to me, for about $10,000.

 

I didn't see any damage. I looked under and around. It is a clean car. Although I do know it was in 2 accidents. One was a collistion with another car and the other it hit a tree. I'm guessing that is when they did the JDM swap.

I was going to offer low like $8500 and work from there. I know that is low but if they want to sell the car they will come down to $9500 or $10000.

I got a carfax for free. The dealership was offering them online. I didn't tell them that I got one though.

Also, did you see that it has been involved in an accident w/ a tree....and also has another accident reported....

Yeah I saw those. I looked at it and it was fixed the right way, not by a hack. The car drove fine and it didn't bounch or sway at all. I think they did the JDM swap after the tree accident. The paint looks good and there is no dents or rust. You can't see any sand scratches or anything if they were fixed. I looked the whole thing over and over and over...

Even if you get it for 10k.Would you be satisfied in the long run with the car knowing that it has been in a few accidents? People wants to know infos about car history and would you feel comfortable telling them that you bought a car that has been in a few accidents? This is just my opinion.I would keep looking around for a clean, stock itr around 13-15k which is CLEAN and BaBY since leaving the dealership. You rather settle for the best or settle for anything...that just my opinions. I had owned so many rides from M3 to Honda prelude etc...its what you feel comfortable with from the time you purchase the car and now!!.. Best of luck man..why not look for a clean Championship White

with wot it's 25... without wot it's 30. I think the JRSC adds mpg ftw.

Is that a water stain on the d.s. rear carpet? looks like a high water line on a flood car.

 

Seems too good to be true.. hrmmm. A little detective work is in order. Check it out.
