My friend is debating on what to do on his lsvtec setup. He wanted to go CTR camshaft but with all his money invested into his lsvtec already the only money he’s got left is for tuning? His idea is to put the GSR vtec head on his LS bottom and get it running first and then 3 months from now he would be able to have enough money to pickup a set of CTR. Tell me what you guys think. Would the GSR stock camshaft atleast make some good decent power? I told him to wait but he’s like he’s don’t want to because he’s been waiting and finally done putting it together and he want it running. So what kind of horse power would it put out on a stock gsr head and camshafts compare to CTR camshafts?

His lsvtec is pretty much OEM build up. Usdm itr pistons, arp bolts , head studs, etc. 4-1 dc header 2.5 cat back exhaust Thermal R & D.

yeah thats what he's planning on doing. i should be visiting him soon and see it for myself.
