Civic Coupe Boot Space
I have just bought a 1997 Honda Civic Coupe. I occasionally play Bass Guitar in a band. I rather stupidly didn't try my speaker in the boot before I bought the car. The full size spare wheel, moulded harboard trim & moulded carpet all sit proud of the boot floor. Consequently the speaker won't go in. If I remove the spare wheel I can just about do it. Therefore, does anyone know if Honda introduced a space saving wheel on later model years? or is there a narrower wheel anyone could suggest form a different model that would at least get me out of trouble?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Love the car. Don't want to be selling it already.

I doubt it. The EM1 (USDM SI, UKDM VTi coupe) spare is listed as a different part number if I recall, but then again, most trims are listed using different spare tire part numbers.
Is there anyway it could fit in the front seat? I can't imagine it'd be easy to get it into the back seat.
